Aishwarya Srivastava

Aishwarya Srivastava is a young dynamic Kathak dancer who indoctrinated the cultural and traditional values of Kathak. She started her training at the age of seven in the year 2003, having given more than 20 years of her life imbibing the ethos and spirit of this dance form. She acquired her initial training by Ms. Kanchan Mardan. After which she began her vigorous riyaz under the tutelage of renowned Kathak exponent Guru Monisa Nayak ji.

Aishwarya dances the Jaipur style of Kathak and holds a degree of Diploma and Post Diploma degree that is Visharad and Alankar from Akhil Bhartiya Gandharava Mahavidyalaya. Academically she holds a degree of B.A History Honours from College of Vocational Studies, Delhi University. Aishwarya is a Doordarshan "B" graded artist.

She is the artistic founder and director of ‘BLOOM Dance and Fitness Studio’ at Civil Lines New Delhi where she imparts the knowledge of Kathak and provides a platform to students to showcase their talent. Aishwarya started teaching at a very young age of 16 and established her own Kathak studio in the year 2015. She has trained more than 200 students and continues to do so in order to promote Indian classical culture among the masses. Aishwarya has excelled not only as a performer but also as a teacher in the field of Kathak.

She has been an active performer at Delhi University and a member of ZEST, the dance society of College of Vocational Studies. She has also assisted her Guru Monisa Nayak ji and worked as a Kathak teacher at Khanak Institute of Performing Arts (Delhi). Beyond classical dance, she has also trained in Western dance styles and performed at various events.

Aishwarya's Kathak studio 'BLOOM' serves as a vibrant hub for aspiring dancers, organizing grand stage showcases for her students at eminent auditoriums in Delhi such as LTG Auditorium, Triveni Kala Sangam, Muktadhara Sanskriti Bhawan, and IIC Auditorium. She has successfully trained over 200 students, providing them with invaluable opportunities to perform and grow annually.

BLOOM Studio is dedicated to deeply immersing students in the rich tradition of Indian classical dance, ensuring they grasp not only the intricate techniques of Kathak but also its profound cultural and historical significance. The curriculum focuses on a holistic development of the artist, fostering both skill and understanding.
